YouthPinoy to organize social media summit version 2

MANILA, August 8, 2013—With the success of the 1st Catholic Social Media Summit (CSMS) in 2012, YouthPinoy, the organizer of CSMS, is again spearheading another summit dubbed CSMS v2.0, this coming November 23-24 at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Intramuros, Manila. 

 “A significant way of culminating the Year of Faith, this summit is a response to the call of using social media to proclaim Christ to the world of the internet, the world of so many young people,” YouthPinoy said in an invitation letter. 

The summit is open to all Catholic youth who are active in the world of social media, whether parish or school based, as well as social communication ministries of different dioceses, parishes, organizations, religious congregations and those who do youth ministry in whatever form and who are engaged in social media for pastoral ministry. 

Msgr. Paul Tighe, the Secretary of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Social Communications will be the keynote speaker of the CSMS v2.0. 

Registration fee is P 1,200.00/person, inclusive of meals (snacks and lunch), ID and kit.
