MANDALUYONG City, Dec. 20, 2012—The Teresian Association-Luzon held an Advent Recollection last December 9 to contemplate on the true meaning of Advent and a deeper understanding on the celebration of the Year of Faith.
Held at the Chapel of Saint Pedro Poveda College, the participants had the chance to ponder on the meaning of the season of Advent and to deepen their faith with the help of Fr. Froilan Briones, SSS who was the recollection speaker.
Briones also spoke on the topic ‘Year of Faith’ for a deeper understanding among participants of the importance of the celebration spearheaded by the Holy Pontiff, Pope Benedict XVI and to help them live their faith which is a gift from God and a treasure to be shared to others.
Organized by the Teresian Association-Luzon, the event gathered members of Institucion Teresiana Youth Philippines-Luzon and some college grantees.
Aside from the recollection, IT Youth also had an outreach activity at the Balagtas National Agricultural High School on December 19.
