MANILA, Dec. 18, 2012—With the approval of the Reproductive Health (RH) bill in both the Senate and House of Representatives, youth directors are calling on young people to remain firm in the faith.
Fr. Cornelio Amante Jr., the regional youth director of the Central and Eastern Visayas region said that the youth must be inspired from the theme of last year’s celebration which is to “Stand Firm in the Faith.”
“Now is the right time to manifest the fruit of the faith. The HERO inside will now enjoy doing his work inspired by LOVE,” Amante said in a text message.
Meanwhile, Fr. Jose Favie Faldas, SDB, the commission on youth delegate of the Salesians in a status posted in his facebook account commented that the controversial measure would deny future children to be born.
He said history will judge those who voted for the RH bill of the irreversible consequences of their decision. (Jandel Posion)
