MANILA, March 26, 2013—Several parish youth commissions in the National Capital Region (NCR) organized activities for the young people in celebration of the Holy Week.

In Manila, a concert recollection titled BAGETS was organized by the youth of the Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Bacood, Sta. Mesa.

The youth sang interpretive songs in relation to the meaning of the title BAGETS— an acronym that stands for Balik Panginoon, Alis galit, Gawa mabuti, Express love for God, Tanggal bisyo, and Sacrifice with a smile and in secret.

Parishioners together with young people in other parishes under the vicariate of the Our Lady of Loreto graced the activity.

Meanwhile, in Parañaque diocese, the youth of the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians on March 25 started their annual presentation of modern Cenaculo which will run until Wednesday.

This year’s activity, “Bunga ng PaggAWA,” is an experimental approach focusing on the ‘Maker’ of the Cross and also deals with current issues including the upcoming 2013 Midterm elections.

In Quezon City, the youth commission of the Shrine of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in New Manila will hold a mass for the young tomorrow, Wednesday.

The mass will start at 6:00 in the evening to be followed by a film showing of the “Passion of Christ”.

Aside from the Wednesday activity, the youth will also participate on the Siete Palabras this coming Friday. (Jandel Posion)
