MANILA, Sept. 24, 2012?The Theological Centrum is organizing a retreat for diocesan priests to be held at the Tagaytay Conference Center in Mendez, Cavite from November 19 to November 22, 2012.
In line with the call of Pope Benedict XVI that the coming Year of Faith “will be a good opportunity to usher the whole Church into a time of particular reflection and rediscovery of the faith”, the retreat is hoped to help priests commit themselves to an on-going formation so that they may correspond to the ever-renewing grace of God.
Theological Centrum organizes at least one retreat for diocesan priests each year, starting on a Monday morning until Thursday. The activities for each day include the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, guided meditations, a talk on practical topics, personal examination of conscience, the Holy Rosary and the Benediction.
Other priests come to help facilitate in the retreat by giving talks and by being available for spiritual guidance, confession and consultation.
The retreats are usually held at the Makiling Conference Center in Calamba, Laguna, or at the Tagaytay Conference Center in Mendez, Cavite.
