Devotees pray before the image of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel ahead of her feast day on July 16. For nine days, devotees flock to visit and pray before the statue of Our Lady to seek her aid and be at peace. Indeed, there is something about the cloistered walls of Carmel that make pilgrims and devotees feel at home and at peace.
