Under the auspices of the iCare Program led by Ms. Marlyn Cababay, the unemployment program will help in providing opportunities for employment to OSY’s in the diocese.

The launching will be held on July 27 at Parokya ng Kristong Hari in Commonwealth Ave., Quezon City.

Roselle Cortes, diocesan youth coordinator said, aside from launching the employment desk, a job fair will also be held in partnership with the Quezon City Public Employment Service Office (QC-PESO) from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

YEADP aims to provide assistance to the unemployed and youth job-seekers with the help of QC-PESO as a partner institution.

“The program will also help match specific qualifications with the job openings from different companies in Metro Manila. YEADP is open to all,” Cortes added.

Interested applicants can personally submit their resume to the Youth Hope Center at Kanlaon St., Payatas B, Quezon City. A youth desk officer will conduct an initial interview and will endorse qualified applicants to QC-PESO for job matching and necessary screenings.
