MYA-Cubao releases official list of delegates for WYD 2013

QUEZON City, April 18, 2013—Cubao diocese has approved 38 individuals to be part of the official delegation of the diocese to the World Youth Day 2013 celebration in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on July 23-28. 

The Ministry for Youth Affairs (MYA) WYD Rio 2013 Screening Committee gave its nod to 18 individuals from Cubao diocese, 5 from Miriam College, 1 from the diocese of Parañaque, and 14 from the diocese of Pasig. Six members of the clergy will also accompany the pilgrims. 

Registered as Cubao-Philippines, approved pilgrims under the delegation as of April 15 are Ella Alfaro and Marie Anne Alipinin from St. John the Baptist Parish in the diocese of Pasig, Norma Jesus Apun from the Holy Family Parish in Pasig diocese, Cassandra Gella from the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish also in Pasig diocese, Joseph Avaricio of Sta. Rita de Cascia Parish, Janely Abigail Bonita of Miriam College Higher Education Unit, Msgr. Alfonso Bugaoan of the Most Holy Redeemer Parish, Joeffrey Bryan of San Guillermo parish of the diocese of Pasig, Allam Angel from the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish of Pasig diocese, Melde Gamonez of the Holy Family Parish of Roxas District, Anne Monique Garchitorena from the Miriam College Higher Education Unit, Benito Hate from the diocese of Cubao Pastoral Office, Rhea Lavilla form the Holy Family Parish in Pasig diocese, Chariza Lim from the Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish in 18th Avenue, and Dr. Yeenahh Lopo from the Sacred Heart Parish in Kamuning. 

Included on the list are Bro. Ellis Luciano of the Augustinians of the Assumption, Mariel Mae Malusay of the Our  Lady of Pentecost Parish, Herold Manalo of San Roque Parish of Pasig diocese, Jameson Manlangit of the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish of Pasig diocese, Fr. Ronald Monis of MYA-Cubao, Vei Migelle Montemayor from Miriam College Higher Education Unit, Jayson Ojeda from St. Jude Thaddeus Parish of Pasig, Edizza Joyce Padilla from the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish of Pasig, Isagani Palabyab and Josemaria Palabyab from Christ the King Parish-Greenmeadows. 

To complete the list are Paul Anthony Pangilinan from the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Project 6, Patty Mae Perpena from San Guillermo Parish in Pasig, Farrah Joice Regudo of Miriam College Higher Education Unit, Geraldine Salvador from the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish in Pasig, Fr. Ronaldo Santos of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, Mark Sese of the Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish in Pasig diocese, John Carlos Sioson from the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Porject 8, Francis Jonathan Sumayao from the Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace (Our Lady of EDSA), Angeline Tagadiad from Miriam College Higher Education Unit, Joesibel Tatel from the Our Lady of Pentecost Parish, Karl Tolentino from the diocese of Parañaque, Pamela Joyce Tupaz from Christ the King Parish-Greenmeadows, and Maria Fatima Ventura from the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. 

MYA-Cubao advises pending applicants to complete the required documents and submit it to the Diocese of Cubao Pastoral Office at 5th Floor, Obispado de Cubao, 41 Lantana St., Cubao, Quezon City as soon as possible. (Jandel Posion)
