MANILA, Feb. 15, 2016 – The Confraternity of Mary Mediatrix of All-Grace, in close collaboration with several parishes, has set a series of Lenten recollections carrying a Marian theme, “GRACE AND MERCY: Turning to Mary during this Jubilee Year of Mercy.”
“In this Year of Mercy, in the Papal Bull of Indiction, the Holy Father exhorts us to turn to Mary, the Mother of Mercy since she was the one who has most profoundly experienced the Mercy of God,” said Confraternity founder and director-general Fr. Melvin P. Castro.
According to the priest, who is also Tarlac diocese chancellor, it would be best for the faithful to have a Lenten recollection very much in line with the Year of Mercy. Hence, the recollection’s theme, GRACE AND MERCY: Turning to Mary in this Year of Mercy.”
The schedule of the recollections is as follows:
- Feb. 20, 2016 at the Christ the King Parish, Greenmeadows, Quezon City from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., culminating with the Holy Mass at 6:00 p.m.
- March 12, 2016, at the Cardinal Sin Hall, St. James the Greater Parish, Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa City from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
Castro will facilitate both recollections. Admission is free and everyone is invited. (CBCP News)
