MANDALUYONG City, Feb. 15, 2013—An overnight camp will culminate the school year for members of the Institucion Teresiana (IT) Youth Philippines’ journey with God on February 16 and 17 at the Saint Pedro Poveda College.
The camp seeks to prepare the youth for their commitment to continue the formation in the IT Youth Philippines and become youth minister, and to strengthen camaraderie through formation encounter and fellowship.
Around 100 youth participants will attend the camp that will start from 4 p.m. of February 16 and will end with a Lenten Recollection at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon the following day.
Themed “Keeping the Fire Burning”, the encounter is also being held in celebration of the Year of Faith.
Aside from the overnight camp, the religious organization will hold a learning encounter on the month of May in Pililia, Rizal with the aim to strengthen the youth minister’s commitment while providing more skills and updating in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie outside the usual four walls of a classroom.
