MANILA, Oct. 3, 2013—Bukas Palad Music Ministry, a Filipino Catholic musical group will launch a new album on the Christmas story, 26 years after the launch of their 1st Christmas album.
Titled “Behold the Child,” the album will be a musical retelling of the Christmas story through 12 songs and 9 new chants.
“The Christmas story is then interwoven with songs in Filipino and English, employing a variety of musical genres. These songs reflect on the characters and events surrounding the birth of Jesus,” Bukas Palad said in their promotional facebook event page.
The launch of the new album and song book will be through a concert on October 12, Saturday, 7:00 in the evening at the Ateneo de Manila High School covered courts.
